Everest

Nepal’s Everest region is much more than trekking; it is a key moment in everyone’s life, and you can’t really say you’ve trekked in Nepal until you’ve seen the dark cone of Mount Everest (8848m) and its magnificent companions Cho Oyu (8188m), Lhotse (8516m). Home to the Sherpa people, this region is steeped in mountaineering history, with its towering peaks forming a majestic backdrop to the deep valleys. The Everest region is also blessed with some of the most picturesque landscapes in Nepal, from lush mountainsides where yaks roam to flower-filled meadows that are alive with monasteries and temples.
