In Nepalese, "La" in means pass which link the high mountain valleys together therefore go over to the top to get from valley to valley is required. Join our 14 days trekking traverse via Ganja La (5,130m) which bring you from the flowers meadow valley of Langtang to the hidden gem valley of Helambu with outstanding view of snow capped Himalayas, lush rhododendrons and bamboo forests, majestic waterfalls, the most diverse treks give you a skip away from Nepal’s capital city to experience unique cultures of Tamangs, Newars and Sherpas, living in some of the most beautiful scenery in Nepal.

Day 1 & 2: Kathmandu

Arrive in Tribuvan International Airport and transfer to hotel located in Thamel, a touristy area in Kathmandu. Spend the following day visiting UNESCO’s World Heritage site, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath and Bouddhanath Nepal's largest buddhist stupa.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Syabru Besi (2,720m)

Drive to Syabru Bensi by jeep on a northern highway that twists and climbs over mountain ridges which offers beautiful views of the mountain and rice terrains within 7-8 hours. If the weather is clear we will have magnificent views of Manaslu, Annapurna and Ganesh Himal.

Day 4: Syabru Besi to Lama Hotel (2,480m)

Register trekking permit in police post then cross a suspension bridge over the Bhote Koshi river which flowing down from Tibet. Continue the trail pleasantly following the Langtang River before passing the bridge where there is small waterfall then ascend through sub tropic forest toward Bamboo. Beyond Bamboo the trails traverse uphill to Rimche then end in Changtang famous known as Lama Hotel.

Day 5: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,430m)

Today hike take us through wild forests of hemlocks, oaks and rhododendrons high above the Langtang Khola. Catching the first glimpse of Langtang Lirung (7,244m) through the trees nearby the army checkpoint. Hike up through U-shaped glacier valley to the Tamang villages of Thangshyap, Gompa and finally to the large settlement of Langtang (3430m), headquarter of Langtang National Park.

Day 6 & 7: Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gumpa (3,870m)

Set out on a trail through tiny village toward Kyanjin Gompa where we will spend two nights for acclimatization. From here we can see joyful Buddhist monasteries, two famous government operated cheese factories. Exploring surrounding area with abundant panoramic mountains scenery over the Langtang Himalaya by climbing uphill to the glaciers of moraine for supper view of Langtang Lirung or ascending Kyanjin Ri (4,350m) view point while tougher option is hiking up to Tserko Ri (5,000m). Another alternatives option is hiking up Langshisa kharka for more spectacular mountains views.

Day 8: Kyanjin Gumpa to Ganja La Phedi (4,300m)

Today's hike crossing Langtang river ascending through rhododendron forests towards Ganja La Phedi.

Day 9: Cross the Ganja La (5,122m) toward Keldang (4,250m)

Strenuous day crossing the Ganja La, the trail covered by snow throughout the year and can be tricky sometimes due to snowfall and ice, parties should be prepared for cold at any time. On top of the pass the Langtang Lirung and snowy peak of  Shisha Pangma (Tibet) are outstanding. Descending to Keldang after the pass.

Day 10 & 11:  Trek to Yak Kharka (4,000m) and Tarke Gyang(2,590m)

Descending toward Kharka passing through wonderful forests, mountain ridges.

Day 12: Trek to Sermathang (2,610m)

Set out on the trail through small forest to enter beautiful village of Helambu region, Sermathang is a interesting place to experience typical mountain lifestyle.

Day 13:  Trek to Malemchi Puul Bazaar then Drive to Kathmandu

Final descend to Malemchi Puul Bazaar then drive to Kathmandu. Farewell dinner with Nepalese food and traditional dancing.

Day 14: Kathmandu

Kathmandu is your to explore before departure flight.




On trekking we will be hiking 2–8 hours per day and some day ascents/descents on steep mountainous terrain at elevations ranging from 2,700m to a maximum of 5,130m. Some days will be rest days with optional hikes to properly acclimatize

Autumn and Spring

Spring (Mar-May) with rhododendrons flowers blooming. Autumn (Sep-Nov) bring outstanding views.

Lower season

Monsoon (Jun-Aug) have rain but plants and flowers are at their growing peak, joining Hindu pilgrim on their journey to Gosainkund lake. Winter (Dec-Feb) less busy.
