+ DETAIL ITINERARY

Day 1: Kathmandu (Eat on Plane)

Upon arrival at the Tribuvan International Airport, you will apply for VISA ON ARRIVAL at the airport, complete the procedure you will meet our staff outside waiting to transfer to the hotel located in the Thamel area, shopping meka sell everything from mala beads, handmade carbet, wall decorations to Thangka, Tibetan singing bowls.

Day 2: Drive to Syabru Besi (2,720 m/8,923ft) – 8 hours – (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner Included)

Early moring, our guide will pick you up from hotel then go to bus station to Syabru Besi, the northern highway that twists and climbs over mountain ridges which offers beautiful views of the mountain and lush rice terrains within 7-8 hours. If the weather is clear we will have magnificent views of Manaslu, Annapurna and Ganesh Himal. Part of the highway is bumpy as it’s underconstruction, this is one of the dealiest road in Nepal.

Day 3: Trek to Lama Hotel (2,480 m/8,136ft) – 5 hours – (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner Included)

Register trekking permit in police post then cross a suspension bridge over the Bhote Koshi river which flowing down from Tibet. Continue the trail pleasantly following the Langtang River before passing the bridge where there is small waterfall then ascend through sub tropic forest toward Bamboo. Beyond Bamboo the trails traverse uphill with many bird species and bees hanging on the cliff, pass Rimche then end in Changtang famous known as Lama Hotel.

Day 4: Trek to Langtang Village (3,430m/11,252ft) – 5 hours – (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner Included)

Today hike take us through wild forests of hemlocks, oaks and rhododendrons high above the Langtang Khola. Catching the first glimpse of Langtang Lirung (7,244m/23,766ft) through the trees nearby the army checkpoint. Hike up through U-shaped glacier valley to the Tamang villages of Thangshyap, Gompa and finally to the large settlement of Langtang (3,430m/11,252ft), headquarter of Langtang National Park. Langtang is the most typical and oldest village on our trekking route. Here the view are spectacular and become imposing as we trek closer.

Day 5: Trek to Kyanjin Gumpa (3,870m/12,696ft) – 4 hours – (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner Included)

Set out on a trail through tiny village toward Kyanjin Gompa where we will spend two nights for acclimatization. From here we can see joyful Buddhist monasteries, two famous government operated cheese factories, don’t forget to try fresh cheese. This beautiful valley is on the lap of the Langtang Lirung where we can explore the valley and climb other peaks.

Day 6: Hike Tsergo Ri (4,985m/16,354ft) then back to Kyanjin Gumpa – (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner Included)

Choose the most challenging climb to Tserko Ri (4,985m/16,354ft) and go to the Langtang glacier for a rewarding view of Himalaya, then back to Kyanjin Gumpa. Other option to explore the surrounding area with a panoramic view of the Himalayan Langtang by climbing onto the Liring Glacier or climbing to Kyanjin Ri Hill (4,350m/14,271ft) or climbing Langshisa kharka for breathtaking views.

Day 7: Back to Lama Hotel – 5.5 hours – (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner Included)

Retrace your steps along Langtang Khola back to Lama Hotel .

Day 8: Back to Syabru Besi – 5 hours – (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner Included)

Descend through forests and beautiful Tamang villages with amazing view of the Himalayas that we had missed on the way up.

Day 9: Bus back to Kathmandu – 8 hours – (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner Included)

Drive back from Syabru Besi to Kathmandu by Jeep. Farewell dinner with Nepalese food and traditional dancing.

Day 10: Kathmandu (Breakfast Included)

Take your time to do shopping. Make sure you bargain the price when buying items from ½ to 2/3 of the original price and should not buy the first time asking price that go round and then choose. Thamel also has a quiet corner for you to enjoy reading time, bookstores and coffee shops everywhere.

We will pick you up at the hotel and transfer to the airport in Kathmandu. Say goodbye and see you again.

On trekking we will be hiking 2–8 hours per day and some day ascents/descents on steep mountainous terrain at elevations ranging from 1,000m to a maximum of 4,895m/16,354ft. Some days will be rest days with optional hikes to properly acclimatize
